Yamato Small Batch Japanese Whisky

Yamato Small Batch Japanese Whisky is the core bottling of Yamato, the Japanese whisky brand created by Aiko Importers after acquiring surplus casks from one of the largest distilleries in Yamanashi Prefecture, southwest of Tokyo. The Japanese characters on the label translate to great harmony.

Yamato is a blend of malt whisky and grain whisky from Yamanashi-grown grain, aged in mizunara oak in the Kofu Basin, where cold winters and hot summers speed maturation, and bottled without chill filtration. The nose is toasted honeycomb, toffee and a hint of licorice; the palate is rich with barley-oak sweetness, vanilla, nougat and hazelnut, and the finish is round vanilla with soft oak. It is an easy neat pour and a great highball whisky.

This 750ml bottle is the best-value way into the Yamato range. Buy Yamato Small Batch Japanese Whisky online with fast shipping right to your door.
