NDC New Zealand Navy Strength Gin is the high-proof expression from the National Distillery Company in Ahuriri, Hawke's Bay, bottled at a full 58% ABV (116 proof). Like its siblings it is built on a four-times-distilled spirit made from casein whey, a by-product of New Zealand's grass-fed dairy farms, and flavored with juniper, lemon peel, coriander seed, angelica root, cardamom, carissa bark and New Zealand orris root, more than 63% of the botanicals sourced locally.

NDC describes traditional pine and citrus notes guided to a deeper place by the unctuous yet finely structured tones of New Zealand orris, in a juniper-forward London Dry profile.
